At this year’s, the fifteenth in a row, the Contemporary Materials 2022 conference organized by the Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Republic of Srpska, professors and students of Department of Chemistry presented their works.
Professor Saša Zeljković held a plenary lecture entitled “A Review of Recent Development of the Solvent-Deficient Method”.
Professor Dijana Jelić, professor Zvjezdana Sandić, professor Dragana Blagojević, and graduate student in chemistry Teodora Tomović presented their posters.
Together with Teodora Tomović, professor Jelić presented a paper entitled “Distinction Surfactant-coating Influences Antimicrobial Activity of Inorganic Nanoparticles: A Case Study of Selenium Nanoparticles”.
Professor Sandić presented a paper entitled “Synthesis of Molecularly Imprinted Polymer as a Selective Sorbent of Aniline”, and assistant professor Dragana Blagojević presented a paper entitled “Determination of Iron Content in Natural Mineral Water: Comparison of ICP-OES and Spectrophotometric Method”.
